Minor in Gender and Sexuality Studies 

Analyze the effects of cultural attitudes and social structures with a gender and sexuality minor at the University of Mount Union. In this program curriculum, youu’ll examine previously unavailable information about the lives and contributions of women and gender minorities. A minor in this area pairs well with other majors and prepares you for graduate programs.  

About the Program 

The gender and sexuality studies major explores the importance of gender as a category of analysis and promotes understanding of social structures of identity, power, and privilege. You will learn skills that will poise you to work in a variety of settings ranging from social service to policy and lobbying organizations to research centers and educational services.
